Odd, using the "welcome" link shows almost immediately (i.e., almost certainly no download/installation) that my 11.5.8.612 is "installation complete". Maybe the auto-update on that page (which I check frequently) only kicks in if existing installed version is relatively old?

“welcome” link is only used for checking version if you have Shockwave instaled.
You need to download the installer from first link that I’ve posted.

For many years (and it’s still the case, according to the page), that “welcome” page not only checked the version currently installed but also automatically did an update download/install if appropriate.
