Outpost Firewall Pro 7.5 — Performance Edition (3717.574.1668)

Does v9 support XP? I think it does not and never will… Microsoft is forcing the moving on…
AMD has released the official Catalyst 11.6 graphics driver for the HD 2000 series and above. The changes in this WHQL certified driver include the new AMD Steady Video feature, YouTube Image Stabilization, decoding acceleration for MPEG-4 part 2 content, as well as performance improvements in Crysis, F1 2010, Far Cry 2 and HAWX on the HD 6000 series, plus a range of bug fixes.

It is also shooting itself in the foot, as XP still has 53% of the OS market share. It choose not to support it, I can’t imagine any commercial company ditching that amount of potential clients; it just pushes them to a competitor, firefox, chrome, etc. which do still support XP (without the hardware acceleration feature), crazy if you ask me.

Absolutely, which is why it is an MS self inflicted injury.

Yep, they’re well known for doing such (crazy…!?) things… ;D
Hey I see to much ‘OT’ here please keep it down thank you ;D
Sorry to continue this O/T stuff, but the reason that Microsoft isn’t supporting IE9 on XP has been stated previously. They want you to upgrade to the newer OSes. Frankly, I can’t blame them since XP is extremely old. It was released on Dec 31, 2001 after all. It’s almost 2012. Yes, there are a lot of XP machines out there, but most of them are getting quite slow and a lot will be replaced soon, most likely.

My machine runs fine with XP. Should XP become corrupted or fail, I will install Linux!
Well, to each their own, and I don’t blame you. I have used or am using pretty much all OS’s (except MAC of course) and I completely agree. I like Win 7 though, just not for business or school use because it sucks for old educational programs. It’s not MS’s fault though, just poor coding. Anyway, good luck with Linux and anything else non-MS! I fully support you.
