With latest update to the 11 branch, I tried to update from the direct link and it still gave me v10. I had to do it through the Player Download page which by the way, has been greatly improved and works a lot faster.

When I tried that method, the downloaded file deleted itself after execution, but the installation file hangs.
The other method mentioned has worked like a charm every time!

While the security notice (your second link) refers to version 1.1.12, the download page only shows 1.1.11. I didn’t bother checking the actual file – maybe they haven’t yet updated the download page but the actual download will be the correct new one? Anyone tried this yet?
