If you do beta testing, you usually work through the manufacturers website. Not a third party notice.
This started out as a way of notifying members of regular program updates.
It certainly isn’t a discussion thread. :o

I haven’t seen Bob around today. I guess he’s too busy playing with the new toy ;D I wiil say that after reading Ed Bott’s very informative article about this preview, I have a more positive take on Win 8. They changed quite a lot from the first preview.

It is an IE wrapper, different user interface, easier access to many of the IE settings, but it is still IE beneath the skin. I used it a long tome ago but abandoned it when I started using firefox.
