Mozilla has released Version 12.0 of the Firefox browser. The most significant change is the introduction of the Mozilla Maintenance Service which allows silent automatic installs of updates.

A new Version 1.60.1 of the CPU-Z information utility has been released. This update provides support for new chipsets and contains a Windows 8 bug fix.

AMD has released the official Catalyst 12.4 graphics driver for the HD 2000 series and above. This driver enables Windows XP support for the HD 7900, 7800 and 7700 series. It improves SSAA LOD image quality as well as the performance of MLAA, and has texture filtering quality improvements. It also contains a range of bug fixes.
