Mayhbe it’s time top open a separate topic on Firefox 29 ???
According to filehippo Firefox 29 is still a Beta.
Go to softpedia.com it’s not beta there, it’s a final release.

Not according to the firefox in program update checker.
I just noticed that so the next time I start Firefox I’ll have FF29.
It really is listed as a Beta in filehippo.

Well file/program distribution sites are almost always going to be behind the curve in the programs version from the manufacturer. When checking I always go to the source for the information.
I found it was best to uninstall v28.0 then install v29.0 using the custom install.
I now have v29.0 exactly the way I want it. 8)
Don’t forget the “classic theme restorer” per reply #9257 above.
I’m now using FF version 29 and it looks the same as version 28 did. Kept all of my settings, bookmarks, extensions, etc, etc… I didn’t see anything about “classic theme restorer.”
