Whilst I had no problems updating from the FF GUI (I was actually waiting for it to report an update was available), avast’s software said there was an update but it offered the same 43.0.4 that I had installed not FF44.0
My Avast thinks that my Firefox version 43.0.1 is the current version.
In addition, Firefox’s main download page is still offering version 43.0.1, makes me wondering what’s going on over there.
