I got that red pop-up telling me I should update my avast. First it wouldn’t let me…said something about not being connected to my server. After several tries, it worked. Now I am still getting the pop-up telling me I need to update …so I try again and it tells me I already am updated. and STILL, I get the warning that I need to update!! Help!!
- Run a manual update.
- Restart your system.

I did a manual update a couple of times yesterday and shut down…if I get that scary red pop up again today, I will do it over again…can’t hurt, I guess.

yes…I do. When I do a manual update, that’s what it tells me I have. and yet the pop-up still keeps coming (twice today) and telling me I need to update.
I just double checked…and yes, I have 110412-0 and the latest version 6.0.1000. When I do a manual update it always tells me I am already updated and gives me these number. WTH?? Guess I should just ignore the red warning pop-up? ???
try avast repair and reboot
For a repair of avast. Windows, Add Remove programs, select ‘avast! Anti-Virus,’ click the Change/Remove button from the pop-up window, scroll down to Repair, click next and follow.
