Updating AVAST

I have been using AVAST for a few days now and am finding I do like it; however, when I update, there are 2 options that appear – iAVS update and one for program update. To stay current, which one do I use, or do I use both?

You don’t need to use either if you have left avast Program Settings, Update (Basic) as they were, updates for the iAVS virus signature update is auto and Program is set to Ask as an when a program update is available.

They are there so you can do a manual update if you wish. One difference using the Program Update will automatically check for virus signature updates.
