Hi there I’m new to the forum and I can’t figure out how to update my profile. I have checked the help link above and I feel really dumb but after I click on Profile and the window opens up I can’t get past the first page where you put in your pw.
I know this can’t be hard but I can’t figure it out…“To edit your own profile, start by selecting Profile from the main menu or clicking your own username” clicking on my username doesn’t work either please help! :-[

I think you have to have 20 posts to be able to edit your profile…
It won’t take you long to reach this limit

The problem comes from drive by spammers, who having registered put objectionable or commercial links in their profile signature to try and gain link promotion, etc.
There have also been cases of the PM function being abused to spam forum members, so you will notice that you can’t use the PM function either.
Unfortunately because of the actions of others legitimate members suffer by the actions to prevent this spamming.

when I signed up I know I pick US even saw the flag then when I went in to post it says I’m from Urguary oh well I’ll just keep posting lol!!!
