Updating problem?

I’ve just used Avast! Version4.5 home edition and there’s problem with the updating. I use ZoneAlarm and i’m sure i didn’t block avast! from updating.

However, this red box with title “avast! Information” says “An error has occurred while attempting to update! Click here for more information…” When i click on the box, this message comes up

"Information about current update:
Last encountered error: Cannot connect to download7.avast.com (67.15.0.90:80).

Total time: 9:17"

What’s wrong with my updating? or is it something else at fault?
I know this topic was posted previously but this time there’s no blocking of avast! from my ZoneAlarm! Help!

  • Make sure you have set “no proxy” in Avast’s update settings.
  • Try to update

If it fails:

  • Temove ZA (just for testing)
  • Try to update

Well if that suceeded, then ZA was blocking avast.setup, check the settings in ZA. Try a manuall update and ZA should ask permision for avast.setup allow access.
