upgrade/downgrade to AVAST Pro without reinstall?

hello,
I am using Avast Free in the moment. Somewhere I read that it is very simple to upgrade to Pro version to test and than there is no need to uninstall/reinstall if you decide to downgrade to Free version.
Is this right that downgrade does not need reinstall processs???
If yes how and where to do this?

to downgrade easely you can go to maintenance, subscriptions, click purchase now, and then select the standard protection.
