Upgrade from avast av free to AIS

Hi all,

As per “subject line”,this is what I would like info on…re: good links/tutorial/how to instructions on doing this right…
I searched the site here and googled using my search “subject line” but nothing of any substance came up…
At present I am running avast free Version 2015.10.2.2214 on XP SP3…

So need to know whether I install over the top,do a clean un-install using add/remove and the avast clean tool as well…as well as any other tips/advice I should know about…

Since you are running a old version of avast, best is to do a clean installation.

Hi Miriam,

the easiest way is to purchase the license in the free program (for example via the upgrade button in header). Once the purchase is completed and you click the activate button in the last step of purchase, avast will automatically upgrades to the paid version + also updates to the latest version.
