Today, Avast asked me to restart my Computer twice, in order to install an upgrade. I thought it was going to install a new release, but I don’t see any change.
Any comment will be appreciated.
Likely it was the micro update that was rolled out about 3 days ago.

As is explained in other threads, mainly the bug in the port scan routine.
OK … I wonder why a new update to a stable release has taken such a long time … 
(Or maybe we Avast users are too spoiled, getting used to frequent updates! ;))
Let me tell you a story.
Once upon a time, not to long ago…
avast took over (bought) avg.
After doing so avast was very busy, combining the databases, integrating things from avast into avg and visa versa ;D
