Upgrade from 2015 free to pro kills laptop/keyboard driver on windows 7 dell laptop.
Uninstalled/reinstalled still same issue.
Without Avast, inputs work fine.
I searched the threads and haven’t found anything on this yet

Also, simply downgrading to free version fixes the problem, but the customer wants pro.
Ok, something else to add;
If I download the Pro Trial, reboot, type in the activation code, reboot, it’s fine.
It seems that applying the activation code, and allowing it to upgrade itself is when things break.
I am getting a driver start error 19 on the keyboard, and a driver start error code 10 on the touchpad (PS2)
Yeah it’s really weird, i also got the same problem with my premier Avast subscription and brand new keyboard. I update my avast to premium, then avast wants the computer to restart. When the computer has restarted my keyboard won’t type, nothing works. I can press F8 to enter Bios, but thats it, afterward i have to reinstall Windows! What should I do? I want to use my premium Avast that I paid for!
重做系统吧,我是没有出现什么问题的说
