Upgrading from Free Avast to Avast Internet Security

I have upgraded from Free version to Internet Security version and it looks like the upgrade has not occurred fully on my computer: Firewall is OFF (it refuses to turn on). The Program version and Virus Definitions Version don’t want to update at all.

Repair avast!:

  1. Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → avast!
  2. Click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.
