Hello Avast Forum Gurus,

Does Avast protect against this rapidly spreading worm?

It’s doing the rounds of the newswires and I’m not sure if Avast protects against it.

I know that Windows Defender has been updated to detect and remove it:

Make sure that Windows is up to date by running Secunia Online Software Inspector:

mentioned few times in the forums… avast has a very good detection and is able to kill the malware from boot-time scan even when the file is well protected…
