Urgent: False positive!

Hi everyone.
I just noticed today that avast (free ver) thinks that the file vdrive.sys (from DVDFab Virtual Drive), located @c:\windows\system32\drivers\vdrive.sys is a rootkit (!!!). This is not a rootkit, it’s a legit driver for the virtual drive.

Well, that’s it. I hope this gets sorted out ASAP.
I noticed it while installing DVDFAB VD, so it clearly wasn’t previously infected or anything like that.

bye!

You can report a false positive here: http://www.avast.com/contact-form.php?loadStyles
Thanks.

Thanks!
Today I found another false positive, now Avast! thinks that Trjscan.exe (from trojan remover) is a virus! (maybe because it’s packed).

c ya all!

I just had avast report C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\atv04nt5.dll as a rootkit. I am almost positive this is also a false positive. Checked the date and version and size. It’s a driver for intel graphics. It identical to the one in my ServicePackFiles directory.

Well, you know where to send it.
