URL:Mal and reddie, epictory blocked by avast.

Hello. Yesterday, avast(free version) blocked reddie.net saying URL:mal, it also said it was related to svchost.exe. I made a little bit research on the internet and tried running avast antivirus deepscan, malwarebytes antimalware scan, superantispyware scan and adwcleaner scan. Malwarebytes found some POP-up thing which I forgot(which I think is probably irrelevant?) and Adw found some stuff I didnt really pay attention.

When all my scans were cleanings were done I restarted my computer. Today, I had the URL:mal, epictory blocked saying it was related to svchost again and I wanted to ask for help thinking I had failed on my own. Does this mean a serious infection?

I’m using windows 8.1 64 bit. I dont know if that matters. Thank you

WARNING: Java is the #1 exploited program at this time. The Department of Homeland Security recommends that computer users disable Java

I would recommend that you completely uninstall Java unless you need it to run an important software.
In that instance I would recommend that you disable Java in your browsers until you need it for that software and then enable it. (See How to diasble Java in your web browser and How to unplug Java from the browser)

If you do need to keep Java then download JavaRa
Run the programme and select Remove Java Runtime. Uninstall all versions of Java present
