C:\Users\Lenovo\Desktop\OTL.exe

Run OTL, just click on RunScan and attach here OTL.txt logreport.

Check USB storage devices / removable drives

Download MCShield from one of the following links:

MyCity - Official download link
Softpedija - Mirror download link

[*] Double click MCShield-Setup to install the application.
[*] Wait a few seconds to MCShield finish initial scan.
Recommendation to under General and Scanner tab you click on Defaults button to choose recommended options.
[*] Connect your USB storage devices to the computer one at a time. Scanning will be done automatically.

When all scanning is done, you need to attach a logreport that has made MCShield.

Start → All Programs → MCShield → Logs

Attach here → AllScans.txt

Explanation: USB storage devices are all the USB devices that get their own partition letter at connecting to the PC,
e.g. flash drives (thumb/pen drives, USB sticks), external HDDs, MP3/MP4 players, digital cameras,
memory cards (SD cards, Sony Memory Stick, MultiMedia Cards etc.), some mobile phones, some GPS navigation devices etc.

I installed Mcsheiald yesterday and ran a scan on my flash drive should I re-run the scan? Are there different options when I do the second scan?

anyway I just plugged my USB then unplugged then plugged the next one and I’m sending the report.

I installed Mcsheiald yesterday and ran a scan on my flash drive...
My bad. :)

Restart your computer and re-run OTL and attach here fresh OTL.txt logreport.

Infection and re-infections has come from USB memory storage devices. MCShield need to be active to remove the malware and protect your computer from worms coming through USB.

Done!

Re-run OTL.exe.

[*]Copy and paste the following text written inside of the quote box into the Custom Scans/Fixes box.

Ok I think I did it. again the log report is called OTL right? Here!

That’s good. You didn;t tell me, is your computer running fine now?

yeah it’s bettter. After yesterday avast stopped givng me the constant messages. I still can’t open my control panel though

What happend when you click on Control Panel?

Let’s try again to run Combofix now. It have nice hidden tools for fixing varius malware related damage.

  1. Delete old Combofix ( drag & drop into recycle.bin )

  2. Download ComboFix from here and save it to your Desktop.

Attach log reports ( ComboFix.txt) back to topic.

Let try to repair you system;

Please download Windows Repair (all in one) from here:
http://www.tweaking.com/content/page/windows_repair_all_in_one.html

[*] Install the program then run.

[*] Go to Step 2 and allow it to run Disk check
[*] Once that is done then go to Step 3 and allow it to run SFC
[*] Go to Step4 and create registry backup and system restore point.

[*] On the Start Repairs tab => Click the Start

  • Click on the Select all button and then click on Start
  • Don’t use the computer while each scan is in progress!!!

[*] Restart may be needed to finish the repair procedure.

something weird happend after i ran system recovery point on Windows Repair

I ran first ComboFix and after that I regained access to my Control Panel (it was no longer blank). Then I installed the Windows Repair and ran steps 2 and 3 as instructed. When I ran the System restore point part of step 4 it’s like I turned my clock backwards with one day all the changes - downloaded files, installed programms including the combofix log which has been on my computer for less then a day is gone. What should I do?

oh, and again my Control Panel is blank… :-\ Is it possible for it to hav also undone the changes we made with OTL?

Yes…dude… you haven’t create a new restore point. You have run your system in old existsing point ( like back in time into past ), so you have restore your computer to the state when computer was malfunctioning and infected.

Download ComboFix … again ( ;D ) and re-run it. If it fails to run try several times always with a fresh Combofix.exe copy.

Attach here Combofix.txt log.

haha was that supposed to happen? And should I be worried about the infected part? XD

I’m ready with ComboFix! ^^
