Hi, i am having the same problem that appears in this topic: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=127903.0

After putting an usb drive that i use for printing avast started notifyng me of it trying to access this sites: (http://etpsoprc.ru/a/, http://specrtop.org/a/).

the usB drive folder became direct access and i cant initiate a lot of the cleaning tools that appear in the link above.

Any help will be appreciated.

Please read Logs to assist in cleaning malware pinned topic and follow instructions for running tools that will provide system diagnostics. Based on these logs we can target and remove MalWare from your computer.

Do not connect the USB devices until I tell you.

  1. AdwCleaner - to remove known browser Hijackers, unwanted Adware & Toolbars, bad Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUP).

  2. Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware - to detect and remove known malware from your computer.

  3. OTL - primary diagnostic tool to diagnose a computer for malware presence and to provide system diagnostics information.

  4. aswMBR - primary AntiRootkit scanner searchs your computer for known and possible unknown Rootkits.

  • MBAM.txt
  • OTL.txt and Extras.txt
  • aswMBR.txt

Let’s first try thouse. OTL has a lot of tricks under the sleeves, it’s unlikely that he will be blocked. Possible yes, but unlikely. And OTL is primary and important. :wink:
