Hi,

Thanks Asyn and Pondus for looking over this too.

So aswMBR.exe won’t run at all huh? Let’s do this…

Please download TDSSKiller

[*]Double click TDSSKiller.exe
[*]When the window opens, click on Change Parameters
[*]Under ”Additional options”, put a check mark in the box next to “Detect TDLFS File System”
[*]click OK
[*]Press Start Scan
[]Do Not Attempt To Fix Anything Now. We just need to look over the report and be sure we are removing the correct items.
[
]Attach the log in your next reply

[*]A copy of the log will be saved automatically to the root of the drive (typically C:)

ListParts

Please download Listparts64
Run the tool, click Scan and post the log (Result.txt) it makes.

Hi Jeff!!

OK I could finally run TDSS from a pen drive! If I copied TDSS anywhere on the drive it will not work at all.

Also TDSS find only 1 file. I think that file is from Alcohol120 and it said medium risk. Should I remove it?

I also run listparts - 32bit and attached are the results.

I have only a 80GB drive on this machine.

Looks like you may have an infected hidden partition on your system. I will return as quickly as I can.

Thank you Jeff!!
This Virus is a tricky SOB! TDSS will only work from a pen drive if I rename it!

I tried doing the same with aswMBR.exe it did not work from a pen drive so I renamed it to some random name and it works now… will post a log of this too shortly.

thank you.
I really hope to remove this sucker and get my PC back.

Cant avast come out with an update so that other users done get effected by this crappy virus?

thanks everyone.

P.s
Cant I just delete that partition and make this ok ?

Attached the aswMBR.txt also
