[*]Under Optional Scan ensure “List BCD” and “Driver MD5” are ticked.
[*]Press Scan button.
[*]It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please attach it to your reply.
[*]The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt). Please attach it to your reply.

Tell me how is the situation now?

I’ve carried out the instructions the resulting log files are attached. unfortunately Avast is still reporting the error, thank you for your time and effort though.

Is it worth going back through the process?

Hi ptshark264,

We have a few simular documented cases in Italian avast board. I did not look posted logs but this might be an FP.

You may use this form for reporting:

magna

It does seem odd that yesterday I had no errors, then I had a Windows7 update overnight and this evening its a problem.

Thank you all for your help its greatly appreciated.

Reported this potential FP to Avast.

PC is clean, this is probably FP detection, wait for Avast team to confirm it…
