URL.Mal Infection blocked! warning keeps popping up

Hi guys, no matter where I go online, for the past couple days an “Infection blocked!” warning has been popping up. I’m on the latest version of Max OS X.

It reads, “Infection blocked!” Avast Web shield has blocked a threat.
Infection: URL:Mal
URL: vb3k.com/favicon.ico/applications/Google Chrome.app/Contents/MacOS/Google Chrome

Anyone know how to get this to stop? Is it a problem with Chrome? Should I uninstall, reinstall? THANKS!

Thanks! Unfortunately Malwarebytes isn’t available for Mac.

aha … Mac, then none of these tools will work :-\

You have to wait and see if you get any help from a Mac guy …may take some time
