Hi, I’m sorry to bother, but my laptop has recently been inundating me with notifications about URL:MAL infections blocked, every time the computer wakes up, and sometimes in the middle of browsing, when it wakes up it gives as many as 16 alerts at a time, and then one or two at a time during normal use. I’m Using windows 8.1, and I’m using Chrome.

Okay, Running MBAM, I can’t seem to get aswmbr to start. frst is running as well.

On completion a log will be generated please post that

Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your desktop.

[*]Close all open programs and internet browsers.
[*]Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
[*]Click on Scan.
[*]After the scan is complete click on “Clean”
[*]Confirm each time with Ok.
[*]Your computer will be rebooted automatically. A text file will open after the restart.
[*]Please post the content of that logfile with your next answer.
