URL:mal "longtrip-todayz.com"

Avast keeps informing me about some url that has been blocked because it is malicious. I’ve tried some scans to find a solution, but nothing seems to help the problem to disappear.
I’ve added the OTS-log as an attachment, and a screenshot of the notification avast is giving.
Can anyone please help me to get rid of this problem?

Many thanks in advance!

The fix should only take a very short time. When the fix is completed a message box will popup telling you that it is finished. Click the Ok button and Notepad will open with a log of actions taken during the fix. Post that information back here

I will review the information when it comes back in.

THEN

Download aswMBR.exe ( 511KB ) to your desktop.

Double click the aswMBR.exe to run it

Click the “Scan” button to start scan

http://public.avast.com/~gmerek/aswMBR1.png

On completion of the scan click save log, save it to your desktop and post in your next reply

http://public.avast.com/~gmerek/aswMBR2.png

I attached the log of OTS after the fix.

Should I wait for your review, or can I start with aswMBR now already?

Run aswMBR please

Done. Log is attached.

Thought so

Re-Run aswMBR

Click Scan

On completion of the scan

Click the FixButton

http://public.avast.com/~gmerek/aswMBR3.png

Save the log as before and post in your next reply. If aswMBR should hang then reboot and re-run the scan

After fix it requested to reboot.
After reboot I didn’t have a log, so I scanned again to obtain a log. This is the result:

I have the same problem would I have to run this same procedure to get results?

@ drankinboy,

Please tell us how your machine is behaving?

Check the information on the first post of this thread under Virus/Worms for you to check your machine for malware: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0.

Follow the directions of obtaining an MBAM log (make sure you update MBAM first) and the OTS logs (save it as ANSI and not Unicode). Post the MBAM log and the OTS log as an attachment (Additional Options > Attach > Post).

Please do not make any further changes to your machine after you have provided the logs.

I am going to refer you to our Certified Malware expert, named Essexboy. He will also review your logs and give you further instructions, however he comes on the forum late UK time. He will respond to you in this thread, so remember to check this thread daily.

IMPORTANT: If you are on a home network, disconnect the affected machine from the network. Do not share a USB/flash drive with this affected machine. Do not use this machine unless Essexboy instructs you do to malware removal instructions; use a different machine to check email, sync your phone, etc. if possible.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you.

@ drankinboy, each fix is specific to that machine only - using someones elses fix could ruin your day
