Hello!
Firstly an apology, I’m a complete novice when it comes to computers and stuff!
Basically yesterday I was browsing the web, and I got a warning about avast blocking a URL, so I closed IE and ran a scan, which came back normal. However since then I still get periodic reports of avast blocking suspicious sites even when IE is closed, saying that the Infection is URL:mal.
I did some googling and got directed here, I’ve noticed that several people have had this problem, and was wondering if you could walk me through sorting this out?
I’ve attached the malwarebyte scan and log, and the OTL log as per the instructions
