Starting today every time I launch Google Chrome I get the alarm shown in the attachment about URL:Mal. I have deleted chrome and re-installed to no avail. Please help with a path forward.

Thank you Asyn. I am not very versed in this sort of thing. Does your post mean it is a false positive and I should set Avast to ignore it?
