Does Avast do scans on USB Drives? I purchased Avast recently for approx 20.00. I don’t know what version it is,.

it is free, and a install and forget tool, fully automatic and will protect against those types of malware that use removable drives to spread

I just did it, right click then scan with avast.

Did you see the link provided by Pondus for McShield? Install that and you’ll be glad you did if a friend or family member sticks an infected usb drive into your system; it only takes less than a second to infect but less time than that to block an usb drive infection plus their usb drive is automatically cleaned by you and they are notified there is an issue.
