Usb has squirr when used in a TV

When I use my USB memory stick in a TV there is a folder titled “squirr”. Nothing happens when I tried to view it on the TV.
When I put the USB memory stick into a computer I can’t find it.
I have “Show hidden files/folders” checked in Windows folder options, but still it’s invisible.
Avast! scans says there is no infection.
Google search returns no hits ( I spelled it correctly, as shown here: squirr).
I have not idea where it came from, nor what it is, or what it does.
What is this folder? Is it trouble? How can I get rid of it, especially if I can’t find it on a computer?
If it’s a virus, I would like to know.
Cheers to all on this forum.
Mike

do you mean you cant see the usb stick when connected to computer?
if you can, have you right clicked it and scanned it?

also try this, install…then connect your usb stick http://mcshield.net/

When all scanning is done, you need to attach a logreport that was made by MCShield.

Start → All Programs → MCShield → Logs

Attach here → AllScans.txt

Hello Pondus,
Thanks for your speedy reply.
Moving along: I meant to say that the squirr folder is not read by the computer when I put the usb drive in. the folder only shows when I put into the usb port on a TV ( I have movies on the usb drive and watch them on a TV). I can indeed locate the drive on my computer, but not the squirr folder.
Thanks for the link to McShield; I downloaded and installed it. (I will keep it too, it’s a great program and it’s FREE). I will try to attach the log even tho it just says the usb drive is clean.

Still don’t know what this folder is all about but I am (a little) less worried about it. but still… ?
