Tested it…and it works. But I think my mouse hand would get tired “typing.” It’s like a virtual keyboard with extra security features.
Well if that is the case then a key scrambler would be an option if you were concerned about keyloggers. That way you aren’t only taking care of on-line protection against keyloggers.
However, that said, personally that is like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted, your first line of defence would be to block the keylogger in the first place.
Hi DavidR and others,
This was posted here more like a sort of technical gimmick, not a real solution to be used against keyloggers, as it then is very much an after the fact solution or a non-solution rather…
I can think of some situations that using it can come in handy, but I haven’t put the info here in full earnest but more as an interesting piece of information of what one can achieve from using javascript…
your forum friend, polonus
Yes, as was mine about proactive measures and or ensuring you don’t get one in the first place, pointing people in a different direction ;D
I know…because now I know your sense of humor. ;D
I do. You know I’m a firm believer in layers of defense for security. I was just going along with Pol’s sense of humor. Besides, I had to check it out for myself.
