use of old phone protected with avast

my current phone is out of commission so I took my back up to get activated so I would have a phone…so not what to do problems

1, phone is locked saying phone has been lost or stolen and to call a number I no longer have
2. the number for my recovery pin just got changed two days ago so that wont work
3. avast shows 2 devices but the y are the same when I purchased the licensed it was under the back up phone

so how can I work around this

Use the new pin.

Uninstalling avast from a phone does not remove the device from your account.
The reason is that it is not possible to “notify” your account that avast has been removed.
This is a limitation in Android.
You will need to remove it manually from your account.
