Hello drhayden1,
No need to install and there is nothing installed, just use it it is an online tool, put a URL at the top and see what it does and what info resides there. Robtex is a bot, a crawler that digest all sort of network information, and you can use that information.
Add to browser means you can have it as a search engine from your search window in FF or Flock, just like Google, Yahoo. Quite simple isn’t it, maybe you have seen too many cats!

???Polonus, what does it do??? I put an URL and it gives me nothing than an URL. Only thing it does is getting my IP address and my internet supplier. Only thing it does. Am I missing something? I use FF v. 2.0.0.6.

Adding a URL to the Robtex search gives you a heap of Info
Hi gdiloren,
It maps networks, and gives you an enormous amount of information, so give in a specific URL say 52.36.28.100 and it resolves:
* rbl (example: 52.36.28.100) checks multiple RBL:s. check if your mailserver is listed in any blacklist
* ipnumber (example: 52.36.28.100) checks ipnumber
* hostnames (example: ) checks dns-info for a specific hostname
* domainnames (example: ) checks dns-info for a domain
* whois lookup (example: ) checks whois-info for a domain
* c-net (example 52.36.28.100) checks reverse for a c-net
* route (example 52.36.28.100/XX checks a specific route
* as numbers (example: *****net))
* bgp announcements (example: ASXXXX)
* as macros (example: as-ams-ix-peers)
* rfcnumbers (example: rfc28XXX)
You have to allow NoScript on the page and give an enter to resolve, and run the online tool.
Investigate it is strong,
