Hi,
I want to use avast! as a second line of protection along with Bitdefender. I have uninstalled ALL real time shields and the Secure line VPN( i don’t want to use the VPN). So, please could you tell me is there any other elements that i need to uninstall so the both programs work without problems? My idea is to use the real time protection of Bitdefender and the on demand of avast!. 
i would use Malwarebytes as extra scanner
pro version with auto update and protection module is only a one time fee for a lifetime license. 
Yes but don’t you think that Avast+ Bitdefender have a much better protection than malwarebytes+ avast?
not if you run antivirus + Malwarebytes pro…then you have two real time protection…
there is a name for the combo you want…Bitdefender/avast = Gdata antivirus …but they have no free version
so free avast + a onetime fee for MBAM pro license is a good buy…and mayebe the best protection you get
Yes i have found it but the newest version(2014) is built only on the Bitdefender engine- sad without avast

So i will be more protected with avast and MBAM than avast and Bitdefender? Is Malwarebytes better than Bitdefender? I have used both MBAM and BD and i think Bitdefender is better.

Usually,
(2) anti-virus programs go to war with each other.
And remove Defender!
Now i’m using Avast and Malwarebytes Pro. 8)
malwarebytes finds things that the antivirus misses simple said. to answer your question.
