I use Bank Mode to reach and interact with my bank accounts and other high security sites. Is Bank Mode as secure as it claims to be? If this is so, is there any point in regularly changing the passwords to websites I always access through Bank Mode, never by any other way?
Bank mode only protects your identity on your machine; if credentials leaked from somewhere else, Bank Mode can’t do anything for that.
Changing passwords periodically is now considered obsolete; use strong password (longer one than mixing symbols) and/or multi-factor authentication.
Thanks NON, appreciate your comments. I never go my bank accounts any way except through one of two computers, both of which have bank mode. I never use phones or public services to contact my banks. I figure that is making my online banking activities as safe as is possible.
