Since renewing my Avast SecureLine VPN, I have found that it is interfering with the Air Play usage on my MacBook Air. Any suggestions?

thank you for reaching out. Could you please describe more the interference?
When the VPN is connected, it should pass traffic to the local network but some services might be limited or not functional at all (i.e. Bonjour). The DNS is reconfigured to the VPN gateway and the cache flushed so any local machines are reachable only by an IP address. All the other traffic is encrypted and directed to the VPN gateway.
When the VPN is disconnected, it shouldn’t affect networking in any way (yet).
