UUGGG!!! VIRUS HELP!

First I want to say, I’m a total computer dummy :wink:
I like to check my mail, read news,go to a few favorite family messages boards and let my kids go to kid sites.
the other day I got that stupid lovesan virus! my pc was doing…well you know shut down every 60 sec reboot ::slight_smile: I had the AVG virus detector then and it didn’t show it till I updated it then it showed it. I was directed to several sites and after about 20 hours, half my hair pulled out, and a few nerve pills later :wink: I downloaded several things I was told to and it seem to work, one was the patch, and even some fix blast tool ? ??? then I deleated AVG and downloaded AVAST and for the last 4 or 5 days I’m been running fine and no virus, then today I go online and the siren goes off and scares the sh*t out of me and say I have the virus Win32 Klez-H so I stop everything and try to figure out how to do this, and I have been scanning my pc with “through scan” for OVER 2 hours it has pop up

and it is still scanning! I was ask each time if I wanted to fix, deleate,or move to virus chest and I moved them. but don’t know what to do now. I thought the patch stop these from coming back? I have windowsXP ANY HELP OUT THERE? :cry:

OK, finally finished scanning and has a ton of files under results, some say file moved susssfully to chest, some say error occured while moving or deleating, alot say unable to scan ect,ect, ect

Did you "patch"your Windows to avoid Blaster reinfection? If not, see the several threads about Blaster. To get rid of the Klez.h use the AVAST cleaner: http://www.avast.com/i_idt_171.html The downloadlink is at the end of that page.
After that let Avast scan your computer ini safe mode. Maybe it is than able to delete the infections left over. If not, post the location of the infected files and we will the what to do next.
