I was able to get Avast 5 web shield to work with Advanced System Care. It liked PCTools free firewall v 6. Avast 6 web shield is ok with ASC but does not work with PCTools firewall v 7.
I want to keep both. Anyone yet able to resolve this issue short of removal of one or the other?
Don’t know why you have a problem with Avast! v6 and PC Tools Firewall v7 as I have both and they play well together on my PC.
I don’t have ASC because I don’t want any software from that Co.
Specs here: Win XP Home - SP 3 - Avast! free v6 - MBAM PRO. SAS on demand.
