I have restarted my PC and re-ran DDS without ending any processes I thought to be suspicious,
Does this tell anymore information?
I have also un-installed a software called Xampp which I thought might be the problem…

(I had to deinstall & reinstall in my case, may not be necessary in yours)

I don’t seem to be having any problems. I have updated to sp 3 and also avast version 6.
I’m running Ccleaner it seems to be fixing some registry items which have (I’m guessing) been deleted/quarenteened during the infection.

So am i right in thinking I am now safe updated and ready to use my PC as normal again?
