So if VBS:Malware-gen was a “false positive” yesterday, what has Avast put into my Chest? Heaps of files in the Chest now (5 main ones Avast caught on restart). Should I restore all those files now or just leave them in the Chest? Computer seems to be working okay as usual iMac OSX 10.9.5. Can I use bank and other secure sites etc now safely (next day)?

How long do deleted files stay in the Chest then after the VBS:Malware-gen fiasco yesterday? Does the Chest auto-clear every so often? Or do those files just sit there forever? Also, as with many other forum posters I only have the Delete button saying Restore? There is no Delete then. Has Avast also fixed that up? My computer hasn’t updated the latest fix from Avast yet it seems. I’m on iMac OSX 10.9.5
