Hello all,
I have WinXP SP2 and Avast! 4.5 Home and I have some problems with Avast! detecting a ‘VBS:Malware [Script]’-virus.
I’m getting this warning only since yesterday after the update from VPS 0506-1 to 0507-0.
I’m the admin of a forum hosted by Lycos and whenever I try to load one of its page, Avast! tells me there’s a ‘VBS:Malware [Script]’-virus.
The ftp account hasn’t been hacked and the php pages didn’t changed. So does that virus really exist and/or is it located in Lycos’ ads (although they are blocked by IE’s popup blocker) ?
If there is no virus, is there a way to ignore that warning and/or remove that ‘virus’ sig from the database ?
I saved one of the page out of my cache and try to remove one by one every JavaScript in it. It seems the warning comes from this piece of code :

I still have the ‘VBS:Malware [Script]’ Warning

try running a boot time scan!

Scan performed : except the infected html pages of my forum which are in the Internet Cache, my comp is virus-free.
Edit : the warning is still there

I made other tests, and it seems that the code quoted above (first post edited) is the ‘VBS:Malware [Script]’
Could someboy tell me if there’s really something that could harm my comp in that script or if it’s just Avast! warning me for nothing ???
