ok here’s the problem i’m having, let me start here
avast home edition 4.5, have the lasted updates.
running xp with service pack 2.
every time i do a scan my system never finishes, it always locks up and i’m forced to reboot. it will scan boot sector or memory then continues to scan and locks up.
just downloaded beta ver. 4.5.536 think i got rid of the problem! 
Hopfully it did, Post back if it did or didnt
