Verbatim V-safe false positive exe deleted even after restore, remove from list

Much older USB Verbatim used ONLY on my computer, faithful always. V-safe 100.exe admits me to vault always. This time, I clicked on it for admission, and Avast! removed it. Went to Virus Chest, Asked for Restore and Add to exclusions. Opened Explorer (W7), saw V_safe 100.exe, clicked on it - boom! gone again! Tried same Avast requests, Boom! gone a third time.

I have info in the Verbatim vault, need it. What do I do?

And what is the message from avast when removing it?.. what malware name does avast give?
