Anti-Theft displays an issue with Verizon Login which is needed for certain functions I use on the phone. File is verizon login 3.1.8; it’s a system file. I can not locate an APK. Searched for it using Root Explorer and it could not locate the file but it’s on the phone as it shows up in Titanium.
I also have an issue when software is set to ask if allow/deny SMS; it will display the SMS message with allow/deny buttons but if I can’t read the message right then it disappears off the screen and I can’t find it anywhere. Please fix this, the messages should be stored some place so when I have time I can read them and then tell it to allow/deny the next time. The message does not show up in my messaging software on the phone so Avast is interfering with it’s delivery in some way.
I hope that someone from Avast will respond to my post. I did not get an answer on my last one although I figured it out. If not, I will contact support.
If Avast SMS filtering is not enabled, yes, they do go through my messaging app which is the default one that is on the phone. I am not using any 3rd party message software. Thank you.
as I said somewhere else already, this feature will be disabled on newest OS versions in the next version since Google disabled it (at least on non-rooted devices). Your device is affected as well.
it’s not going to work on rooted devices using current AMS since we don’t have that kind of rooted feature set at the moment, I’m just saying it might be possible to make the feature work on rooted devices.
