I couldn’t figure out why my system was slower than usual with this latest avast! version despite using Samsung 850 Pro for my PC drive. This version doesn’t turn off Windows Defender. They are BOTH running together. C’mon!? How did you f**k this up!?

I did a clean install, not an upgrade. Maybe that’s the reason…

On a more important note I got yet again the Safe Zone Browser installed without questions despite explicitly uninstalling it before!!! Will start a separate thread about this bad joke. >:(

I really aplogize for this. It’s a bug and we will release a fix soon. SafeZone browser shouldn’t be installed during update if you have disabled it in past.

Still installs even though uninstalled last time, just 10 mins ago. Very poor show Avast.

I’ve experienced similar on and off in the past. I now no longer trust avast for this,
and if I want to update, I always uninstall/reinstall.

Could be an honest mistake, but their credibility is a little low, in my eyes.

Just released a new version to fix for the issue, when SafeZone browser was installed during update, even if user has uninstalled it previously.

No, not the same time, beta was out 2 hours earlier It’s quite unusual, but this fix was kinda safe

And as I said before we always have to release to beta and then to public channel. That’s why.

This needs to be addressed.
I did an inplace update. SafeZone Browser did not install since it wasn’t installed in the lat version.
However, this states that I have Safe Zone.
It should say: If you installed SafeZone Browser it will protect you when you do your Banking and Shopping.

I need to check my PC after update, not had a lot of time to check all things yet. So I am not sure about resource hog problem. But I have 2260, and I see here 2261. Is it bug fix? Because I read all topic and I am still confused in version history… ??? I am in stable channel.

+1.And also many things to address:Map stay at Year 2015 and last month is 17 and Active Devices is still and states that Aug 2015? Avast! do something your data is back dated pls update it with new ones
