Should this topic now be labelled 73.0.1258.87 (Beta) ?
At present people will be misled to think 73.0.1258.87 is latest stable version of ASB from just looking at the topic header, then complain that auto update does not work without reading the whole thread.
Just a thought.

OK. I am confused as to why I am stuck on "72.0.1174.122 (Official Build) (32-bit), which is still indicated as the “up to date” version.
If not in Beta, surely v73 should by now be offered for normal in browser automatic update?

The in browser update function does not work as efficently as some would like.
Use the link provided and download/install the latest stable version

OK. I have now manually downloaded and installed Avast Secure Browser Version 73.0.1270.87 (Official Build) (32-bit) over the top of Version 72.
I assume Avast plan to fix the in-browser automatic update mechanism same as other browsers, so that ASB is always kept properly up-to-date and secure according to its name.

the update button works on 100%. We just do not release the update to whole user base in one day. That would be very risky!

Install free Avast and get Secure browser too.
I see that your secure browser is x32 bit application, my OS is x64 bit and I love to have all posible apps in x64 versions.
Is there any chance that Avast Secure Browser will be x64 ???

Is update via browser still not working then. Mine is telling me 73.0.1270 is latest version.

Edit: I have just manually downloaded and installed v74. Why is automatic updating not working?
Why does Avast Software Updater not detect and update old versions of ASB?
I find it appalling that Avast do not fix automatic update, as having an out-of-date browser is not good news.

Thanks to Aysn for notifying latest release version on this forum, but we should not need to consult the forum to discover our version is old and then have to go to Avast website and download latest ASB afresh.
