Version 88.0.7977.151 (Official Build) (64-bit), MISSING ADBLOCK, HACK CHECK ETC

I have lost “Hack Check”, “Secure Line VPN”, and “Adblocker”. I am not sure if I have a recent update of Avast that caused it, or, Windows update, etc. I have done a system restore to an earlier date on Windows 10 when I know I had Adblocker working, but didn’t fix the problem.
I wondered if uninstalling and reinstalling Avast Secure Browser would help, but, I don’t want to lose all my bookmarks. Importing bookmarks isn’t as easy as it could be in my opinion. If I had a step by step guide for locating, saving, then exporting my bookmarks back into avast secure browser, then I may give it a try, but the info I can find is sketchy at best. Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

Sounds like you have 2 problems.
To do a clean install of the SecurBrowser, follow this:

Maybe it’s time for a clean install of the Secure Browser
Download the installer from here, https://www.avast.com/en-us/secure-browser
Download the Secure Browser Removal tool from here, https://download.avastbrowser.com/avast_secure_browser_uninstall.exe
Save your Bookmarks via the Book Marks Manager if you have custom bookmarks so you can import them when you re-install.
Uninstall Secure Browser via Programs and Features - Reboot
Run the removal tool, reboot, run the installer import your favorites if you saved them.

Report back if that’s solved the problem or not.
Avast has offered a separate tool to totally remove the Secure Browser if the above instructions don’t work.
You can find that tool here, https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=230288.msg1531315#msg1531315

For the Adblocker problem if it’s still there after the re-install of the browser, follow this:

Thanks bob3160,
I will give this a try in the next day or two. I exported my bookmarks from the bookmarks manager to a folder on my desktop. Is that all that I need to do to save them? I’ll let you know if this works.

After you’ve done the clean install, import those bookmarks into the new version.

Thanks again bob3160. Just did the uninstall/reinstall, now 10 minutes later everything is as it should be. Worked like a charm and no headaches! Thanks again so much for the help. Really appreciated. Stuff like this gets me stressed out more than I need. This was stress free this time! Bookmarks reinstalled easy too. Just chose to import the HTML file and…bingo…there they are.

Happy to hear your problem is solved. (now if I could only get my vacuum connected. )
