Hmm, i tryed the remove tool but it is still popping up
- Remove avast through control panel
- Run avastclear
- Reboot
- Remove all leftover folders, files and registry entries
- Reboot
- Install the latest avast version
It isn’t in the control panel… There is nothing to find anywhere and that’s the problem.
Only some old folders from 2013 and i can’t remove them. I don’t have the permission and i don’t know houw to force them… But the upgrade utility is nowere to find…
Remove them in safe mode.
Sorry for the many questions but yesterday i tryed that. Rebooted after an it still came back… Don’t understand it anymore…
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/farbar-recovery-scan-tool/
Download and run Farbar.
Attach FRST.txt and Addition.txt to your next post.
Let’s see what we can find.
Oké, here they are.
is it safe to put the attachment here or is there to much personal info in it. In that case i have to remove them again i think. Can you telle me?
Go take a quick shower and then i am back…
Thanks
They don’t show any personal information, so don’t worry.
I just got back from the hospital so I do have some things other than computers on my mind, but I will have a look at the logs and ask someone else also to have a look.
Ahh thanks…
And don’t rush anything. Personal things are more important then this and i yust click it away for the time beiing. It is not a big deal, only gets on my nerves that i can’t fix it mysself. I use to be an system engineer till 2004. Then i got an accident and had to stop working.
And sorry for my bad wrighting English. I am dutch.
I already had a strong feeling that you are Dutch.
Why ?
Your first post here was in Dutch ;D
But this is a English forum (there is also a Dutch one here), so I will continue in English.
I do see some things in the logs that should be fixed.
Amongst them traces of a removed McAfee product and the Olmarik malware.
Just to make sure, you have UPC as provider ?
I will ask Essexboy to have a look at the logs also.
Haha, yes at first i didn’t nottice that the forum was really English because it askes me the prefered language… But then i saw all the English. I have no problem speaking in English but for wrighting is a differant story.
It also could be that i had something McAfee related but a while ago i had some problems and i installed severall scanners and malware find programs. Also could be that is was part of the pc allready when i bought it. But i don’t like McAfee. Much to heavy program to run. But i removed the most i thought?
This Olmarik thing never came up in any scan. Something to worry about or not?
And yes i have UPC, aldo they fused with Ziggo so that’s there official nam now. Except the email didn’t change. In any case thank you for all the effort here. Hope hearing from you then…
Try this it should cure the problem
CAUTION : This fix is only valid for this specific machine, using it on another may break your computer
Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it:

Save this as fixlist.txt, in the same location as FRST.exe
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/73555776/FRSTfix.JPG
Run FRST and press Fix
On completion a log will be generated please post that
I searched for the FRST.exe first to find out the where it was. It is in my downloads. Is that oké or should I move it to another place?
Sorr,y feel like a nono now :
It is ok to leave it there, just make sure the fixlist.txt is in the same folder.
Okey, done… Hope it is oké now… I was in temporary shock because I could’nt reply… :-X Needed to login first Removed my temp offcourse…
And after rebooting no pop-up yet ;D
Feels like a bit off a refreshing class off my old work… Nice.
Hope to hear if i need more to do or this is it…?
In that way, thank you guys… really appreciate all the work here.
You can delete FRST now and the Folder C:\frst
