Vince Steckler left me "a little surprise" - what is it?

Just got an email from Avast at the bottom it states:

PS: We know we may not be at the top of your wishlist this year, but in case we are, we’ve left you a little surprise. Just open your Avast software.

I did that and saw chuff all different - I’m on the latest program update, have I missed something?

I haven’t received an email, so I can’t say what it is about. But you don’t say what avast version you have (free/pro/ais, etc.)?

I would take a guess it would be some sort of offer/discount to upgrade from the free version. That said those offers/discounts normally come in the UI or a popup.

I have AIS, don’t worry it’s not contagious!

It may be a offer/discount from Internet Security to Premier for the remaining time of your IS license. We can’t tell for sure until we see the message.

Seeing this on forum scared me a bit. Thought Vince has left AVAST Software… It’s not as shocking once you see full thread name lol.

I got the same email, and don’t see anything out of the ordinary in my avast software. I have Avast Internet Security. I have no idea what version–can’t find anyplace in the menus to find out. Just renewed in November. ???

I didn’t receive any e-mail from Avast, but here (using AIS) I receive a pop up from Avast saying that’s there’s a message from the CEO. If you click on that pop-up, there will be a message from the CEO and discounts on programs.
