Remember how in the “old” avast!, there was this little list-esque thing that said “Last object/connection scanned” and “Last object/connection blocked:” I can’t find the blocked one in Avast! 2014. Where is it, if its even there.

They last item scanned just flies by so you probably won’t be able to find it.
If it was a pop-up right click on the tray icon then click “show last pop-up”.
